OK, so this should take the sting out of those Android 2.0 users getting free turn-by-turn with the new version of Google Maps (although that too might be coming to the iPhone eventually…)

CoPilot have released another update for their excellent GPS application for the iPhone, new features are:

• In-app access to iPod controls
• ClearTurn enhanced junction display in portrait
• Improved User Interface performance
• Fixed Lat/Lon destination entry
• Additional GPS performance improvements
