If you’re finding it hard to get your head down, you should seriously consider the rather excellent Pzizz Sleep app that’s just appeared in the App Store. We reviewed the Pzizz Relax app in September and were impressed by it’s ability to send you into a relaxed state. Now, Pzizz have come through with the hotly requested Sleep app and it works exceptionally well.

Pzizz uses patented tech to produce a unique soundtrack, so you’ll never hear the same soothing sounds twice. The app also lets you tailor your sleeping session with different volumes or lengths so that you can enjoy a peaceful nights sleep! The app is currently available for the very reasonable £1.79 although we understand the price will be increasing on the 14th of December!

The rather excellent channel 5 programme, The Gadget Show, has a channel on YouTube where they often add additional content from the weekly show. Recently, the show tested the new TomTom app and cradle and their review was very favourable. In this clip, the shows presenter compares TomTom to the latest offering from CoPilot and as it’s shown in the first 5 minutes, it’s certainly worth a link!

Where did that come from??? With Call Of Duty fever gripping not just the nation but the world, Call of Duty World at War Zombies is the popular bonus game which has you fighting for your life as Zombies try to take your life.

Whats that coming over the hill?

Whats that coming over the hill?

Weapon upgrades ensures your more efficient at killing the Zombies and blocking up the windows stops them advancing any further and gives you more points.
Fans of the console game look like they are in for a treat as the level that’s included is the same as the console version. Other levels look like they will become available in the future.

Added local and worldwide multiplayer means the game should be enjoyed by casual and die hard gamers alike.

First Person Shooter (FPS) games have been a bit thin on the ground on the iPhone but this is a bit of encouragement for FPS fans that the iPhone hasn’t been forgotten. (Roll on Modern Warfare 2 – iPhone Edition) ;)

Priced at £5.99 the games available from App Store now. Let us know what you think. Does it live up to the Call Of Duty name? How do you find the controls?

Big news! UK iPhone owners subscribed to O2 will indeed be allowed to unlock their iPhones for other carriers, according to Matthew Key, CEO of O2’s parent company, Telefonica Europe.

“Once the iPhone becomes available on other UK networks, we will allow O2 customers to unlock their iPhones, although of course they will still need to honour any outstanding contract period they have. At the end of their contract period, they are entirely free to move to another operator — though naturally we hope they won’t want to!”

As previously reported, Orange is set to begin carrying the iPhone on the 10th of November, while Vodafone will begin selling iPhones in the first quarter of 2010. O2 has had exclusive UK rights to the iPhone since 2007, and until now has not needed an unlocking policy, or formally announced one. It is common for companies in regions with multiple iPhone carriers to allow switching services if there are no contractual obligations.
